Prerequisites:

1. Be 18+ years old.

2. Having achieved a first aid certification from a recognized agency within the last two years.

3. Holding an AIDA4 certification (or equivalent, and complete a crossover evaluation).

Overview:

Classroom Sessions cover a variety of topics such as teaching methodologies, effective communication, risk management, planning, marketing & budgeting as well as very detailed outlines and discussions on all freediving skills and techniques. Daily presentations and teaching practice will ensure that you build routine and professionalism working with the AIDA materials.

Water Sessions are devoted to mastering the freediving set up, performance requirements and most of all teaching practice and skills demonstration. A variety of in-water scenarios will prepare you to guide students in a safe and professional way.

• More than just completing requirements, We finetune your presence in the water. From technical skills in your own diving up to leading other divers through teaching sessions.

• With daily programs ranging from 9am to 6pm and not more than 2-3 diving days in a row, we ensure that there is enough time to reflect on all topics covered, prepare and study as well as rest and recover from the water sessions    

• Beyond teaching AIDA courses, we cover how to provide technical training and coaching in between courses, laying an emphasis on the importance of structured training in freedive training of every level

• Ensuring a comfortable and peaceful environment for the most efficient learning experience, by basing the course from a quiet, well lit & ventilated classroom.

Certified Abilities:

As AIDA Instructor you will be qualified to teach the AIDA 1, AIDA 2 and AIDA 3 courses. With all teaching materials available online and not having to be connected to a physical dive center, you will be flexible to teach freediving from anywhere around the world.
